Jamison

Founder / CEO

Jamison, who founded the company that is now Arterian in 1995, envisions a future where every small to mid-sized company will have an IT partner become a vital part of its core operations team keeping them free from disaster and flourishing.

That vision was the driving force behind his decision to launch his own IT support and consulting firm. Recognizing the need for businesses to have IT partners they could rely on in the face of ever-evolving systems and an onslaught of highly sophisticated viral threats, Jamison's company began serving customers in Seattle and the surrounding area. His enthusiasm for IT technology makes it easy to rally others into his personal mission: to keep reliable IT infrastructure at the forefront of his customer's businesses by merging personalized attention with professional service at reasonable costs.

Jamison stays connected in the industry and enjoys being an active participant in the Microsoft Heartland Technology Group, the Puget Sound Small Business Server Peer Group (PSSBS), and attending key conferences to keep well-versed on the latest IT advancements. Arterian represents the excellence Jamison strives to achieve in every aspect of his life. He takes pride in his company and stands by the strength of his team to provide his customers with phenomenal personalized service.

Jamison holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Washington. When he's not personally overseeing his clients' operations, he devotes time to his kids and wife, a good book, or even a pickup basketball game to create a positive work/life balance.

Amanda Rankin

VP of Client Services

Amanda oversees our managed services, professional services, and account management groups, ensuring that clients receive consistent service no matter which part of Arterian they're working with. She believes strongly that service is the most important aspect of client services. "Providing high-quality technology consulting is ultimately about relating to people," she says. "I always strive to understand the business each client lives in, and how to create solutions that will best support that particular business."

Amanda brings more than ten years of experience in the technology field--including technology consulting for clients across multiple industries--to her position. She previously served as Director of Professional Services for X-Bar, an IT service company that became part of Arterian in a merger.

Away from work, Amanda spends as much time as possible with her husband and two boys, and is trying to find the perfect Tuscan restaurant.

Jeremy Perkins

Director of Managed Services

Jeremy's father taught him how to build a computer when he was 10 and he ran his own Bulletin Board System (precursor to the Internet) at 11. His interest in technology persisted, and he graduated from college with an undergraduate degree in IT Security before earning an MBA.

Working for managed service providers for the last seven years has given Jeremy a sense for what works well and where improvement is needed. Fluent with the technical tools of information technology, he realizes that he's really in a people business. "We serve people who happen to use technology," he says.

Jeremy has five daughters and tries to spend as much time with them as he can--often playing video games such as Rock Band. He's also been known to play a mean jazz sax.

Rob Thedens

Professional Services Manager

Rob has been working in the IT industry since 1995, including stints as a project engineer and owner of his own consulting company. He is a firm believer that learning each client's business is the most important part of his job. "If I can understand your business better, I can help you do that business better," he says.

His perfect day away from work would include motorcycles, family, BBQ, and sun--with a little jazz thrown in for good measure.
